High power capacitors up to 1000 kVAr

Eurocomp, the German representative of Celem, is introducing five new capacitors with breakthrough performances. The water-cooled CSM800 (800 kVAr) and the CSP1000 (1000 kVar) are targeted to high frequency, high power applications where high energy density is required.

These new generation capacitors enable working at very high frequencies, which the previous generation could hardly achieve. The CSM800 offers dual mounting mode – either like CSM family on top of two bus-bars or between two bus-bars like the CSP family.

The water cooled Quad1001HV (1000 kVar) and the conduction-cooled C500Q (500 kVAr) are medium frequency capacitors with improved performances, suitable down to 3 kHz. At least the CSM nano is a very small 100 kVAr capacitor, that utilizes the well known ease of mounting of the CSM series.

Celem is a developer and producer of high power capacitors for induction heating applications. The capacitors are built with a new patented technology that continues the tradition of Celem to supply high power capacitors at a very small volume and weight.
